Merton Chamber of Commerce is a limited company and non-profit making organisation which was set up in 1992. Our overall objective is to protect and develop the interests of the business community based in the London Borough of Merton, South London.
Through MCC Business Solutions, we provide a range of services for start up and established businesses.
We are an accredited enterprise agency and a member of both the National Enterprise Network and Capital Enterprise (the London Association of Enterprise Agencies)
National Enterprise Network is the national enterprise network. Its members, drawn from local enterprise agencies and a wider range of enterprise support organisations, provide an array of services to new and emerging businesses including independent and impartial advice, training and mentoring.
We work in partnership with many local organizations to support our members to connect with services they offer, including training, apprenticeships and links with the Mayor of London and the Greater London Authority and other sub-regional partnerships.
Merton Partnership
Merton Chamber of Commerce is a member of the Merton Partnership, a group involving the Local Authority, the Police, health voluntary and community sectors. The Merton Partnership is the overarching strategic partnership that seeks to place the needs of the community, the reduction in inequalities in the borough, and the effective delivery of public services right at the heart of what public agencies and their partners do.
The Partnership is responsible for the delivery of Merton's Community Plan and Local Area Agreement (LAA) objectives. The Partnership’s aim to ‘bridge the gap’ between the east and west of the borough is the central focus of the LAA.

Merton Chamber accredited Investor in People for 4th successive time
We were first recognised as an Investor in People in 2002 and this will be the fourth time we have been given the accreditation.
The report observed that "The Standard continues to be met - so congratulations are in order! Merton Chamber of Commerce is a well managed organisation and MCC is certainly a successful grower of people". This proves that we have a strong tradition of developing our staff and using this external accreditation to demonstrate excellent practice.
