The Wimbledon Village police team have arranged an Action Counters Terrorism training package for the local community on Saturday 11th February from 2pm-4pm. This session will be kindly hosted at The All England Lawn Tennis Club.
“Action Counters Terrorism is a facilitated awareness presentation which is designed to raise awareness of the threat from terrorism and actions you can take to protect yourselves and Business from or during an attack”
Modules covered;
- The current threat (where it comes from / types of threat)
- Suspect packages (how to spot and deal)
- SCaN – “See, Check and Notify” (how to spot and deal with hostile reconnaissance)
- “Run, Hide, Tell” (actions to stay safe in an attack scenario)
This training is invaluable in both working and private life. And a lot of the skills are transferable to help reduce crime and to help keep you safe.
