Following on from the decision this morning for the United Kingdom to leave the EU, Merton Chamber of Commerce CEO Diana Sterck says:

“Although the country as a whole has voted to leave by a small majority, London as a whole, and Merton borough voted to remain.

As the seismic effects of the decision to leave become more apparent, Merton Chamber of Commerce encourages business to take “a business as usual” approach whilst starting to plan for the next 2-5 years to assess what the changes means for their business based on employment, trade, European laws and other critical strategic and operational activity.”
