DESCRIPTION:During this full day course\, you will learn basic life-saving first aid and workplace health and safety regulations. \n\n\n\nThe course is tailored as a generic course and will include the following:  \n\n\n\n\nHealth and safety (first aid) regulations\n\n\n\nManaging an incident\n\n\n\nThe priorities of first aid\n\n\n\nTreatment of an unconscious casualty\n\n\n\nResuscitation\n\n\n\nShock\n\n\n\nChoking\n\n\n\nSeizures\n\n\n\nBleeding\n\n\n\nCommon workplace injuries\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAssessment and certification Continuous assessment by trainer meeting Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. Who should attend? Any individual who is the nominated emergency first aider or anyone wanting a comprehensive one day first aid course.
