DESCRIPTION:This hands-on practical workshop is aimed at those employees within the organisation who have a key role to play within the management of fire safety in the workplace. ‍The course is tailored as a generic course and will include the following:  \n\nThe Legal Requirement\nThe Triangle of Fire\nTypes and Causes of Fire\nExtinguishing Fire\nBasic Fire Prevention\nActions to be taken in the Event of Fire\nFire Extinguishers\nResponsibilities of a Fire Warden/ Marshal\nChecking Fire Fighting Equipment within your Workplace\nEscape Routes and their Importance\nFire Notices and Signs\nAssembly Points and Role Calls\nProactive Fire Prevention\nProactive and Reactive Role of a Fire Warden/Marshal\n\nYou will be able to undertake a practical demonstration; allowing you to extinguish different types of fire\, using fire extinguishers on our environmentally friendly fire simulators. Who will benefit from this course? Any individual who has a responsibility for fire safety; anyone who requires guidance on workplace fire safety and anyone who requires their staff to have an in-depth fire safety awareness. \nTerms & Conditions Payment of your place(s) constitutes a booking; if you are unable to attend you are free to send a substitute delegate\, but we will be unable to refund your money. Prices quoted are plus vat.‍ ‍Venue: Trinitarian Bible Society. If you are having difficulty booking your ticket\, please email lauren@mertonchamber.co.uk  \n
