DESCRIPTION:During this full day course\, you will learn basic life-saving first aid and workplace health and safety regulations. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe course is tailored as a generic course and will include the following:  \n\n\n\n\nHealth and safety (first aid) regulations\n\n\n\nManaging an incident\n\n\n\nThe priorities of first aid\n\n\n\nTreatment of an unconscious casualty\n\n\n\nResuscitation\n\n\n\nShock\n\n\n\nChoking\n\n\n\nSeizures\n\n\n\nBleeding\n\n\n\nCommon workplace injuries\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAssessment and certification Continuous assessment by trainer meeting Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.  \n\n\n\nWho should attend? Any individual who is the nominated emergency first aider or anyone wanting a comprehensive one day first aid course. This course is ideal for smaller workplaces that present few health and safety risks \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe are delighted to be partnering with Jen at Wimbledon First Aid to hold this compliance training \n\n\n\n\n\nIf you are having difficulty booking your ticket\, please email info@mertonchamber.co.uk and someone will get back to you. \n\n\n\nTerms & ConditionsPayment of your place(s) constitutes a booking; if you are unable to attend you are free to send a substitute delegate\, but we will be unable to refund your money. \n\n\n\nIf a participant needs to cancel and is able to provide more than fourteen days’ notice\, a 75% refund will apply. Participants cancelling with more than seven days’ notice will receive a 50% refund. Less than seven days’ notice\, no refund. \n\n\n\nIn the event of unforeseen circumstances\, Merton Chamber reserves the right to cancel any course\, and in such event\, will endeavour to give you as much notice as possible.
