FREE SCaN Training with MET Police

Written byNatasha Morgan

Love Wimbledon have organised another free session of SCaN (See, Check and Notify) Training, in partnership with the Met Police’s local Counter Terrorism officer, Matt Bryan. Love Wimbledon arranged this training previously in June, ahead of the Wimbledon Championships, and had great feedback from businesses that attended.

SCaN training helps businesses to protect their premises from a range of potential threats – including criminal activity, unlawful protest and terrorism and helps organisations, venues and events maximise safety and security using their existing resources. The training is particularly relevant for customer facing businesses, especially as we gear up to what everyone hopes will be a busy festive period!

Why you should attend?

•             SCaN training empowers your staff to quickly identify suspicious activity and how to respond.

•             This will help your business to provide a safer customer experience.

•             Ensure that groups are unable to get the information they need to plan their actions.
