It’s a great opportunity for you and your colleagues to get together for some teambuilding and raise vital funds for those unpaid carers who live on the London Borough of Merton.  What’s more what great PR to show that you are supporting the local charity which won the Special Award for services to carers at 2014 Merton Best Business Awards.

When:  Saturday 30th May 2015

Time:   10.00am

Where: Staring at Southwark Cathedral

Last year an amazing group of people raised over £1000 for our centre through taking part.  The full route is a circular walk of approx  9 , 7, or 2.5 miles depending how energetic you are feeling. The route runs along the South Bank of the Thames from Southwark Cathedral upstream to Lambeth Bridge and back along the north bank via Tower Bridge – and is described by the Lonely Planet Guide as one of the top 10 city walks.

Each person who takes part will receive a goody bag including t-shirt, vouchers.  We do have to pay a registration fee for each person who takes part in the walk so we do ask that you commit to raising at least £35 per adult walker to cover our registration costs.

It’s easy to register, just click the link on the attached poster and it will take you to our Thames Walk fundraising page – to register for the walk click the start fundraising link and it will take you through the process of setting up a page or alternatively click on the picture of any person taking part to sponsor them. If you need any help with this please give me a call.
