Over 80 businesses attended the launch of the new Merton Chamber Business Service on 13th October at Wimbledon Brewery.
Businesses learnt that the Service will offer a free Business Review with a business adviser, providing an agreed action plan on areas for development and potential solutions. They will then be referred on to a new, approved network of Service Partners to deliver the plan.
Merton Chamber Chief Executive Diana Sterck said: “The evening was a great success. Businesses had the opportunity to network with other local businesses, as well as meet our Service Partners to discover how the Service can support their business growth. Wimbledon Brewery is a fabulous venue. As a new business within the borough, they are a perfect example of a growth business who has benefitted from a range of our services and membership.”
The Merton Chamber Business Service has been developed as a result of research with local businesses who identified 3 key business areas to support their business growth:
• Sales and Marketing
• Managing People, Performance and Productivity
• Business Growth Coaching & Mentoring – including Finance and Sustainability and Exploiting Digital Technology
