Blue Wave Swim School has been teaching South West London’s children to swim since 2010. They’ve been recognised by the What’s On 4 Kids organisation, who has nominated them for two prestigious awards.

Blue Wave Swim School is not your average swimming school. Quality is paramount. They operate to extremely high standards, only employing professionally trained teachers to run their classes. They keep up to date with the latest developments in swimming education, partnering with the best swim schools in the world to share expertise. Their classes are progressive and technical, but always great fun.

Blue Wave’s Owner and Founder, Marjan Moosavi, has been a competitive swimmer, as well as a lecturer in Sports Science. She is a learn-to-swim expert, and a specialist in teaching babies and toddlers to swim. Her mission with Blue Wave is to build confident, happy swimmers, one stroke at a time.

The What’s On Kids Awards has been rewarding the best children’s activity providers across the UK for 11 years. The company that organises them, What’s On 4 Little Ones, is a national listings website specialising in kids activities throughout the UK.

The nominees for these awards are chosen by a panel of judges, and the winners are chosen by a public vote.

The What’s On 4 Kids panel have put Blue Wave Swim School forward for two awards:

  • Best Independent Activity for children aged 5 to 12 – Category 4
  • Best Independent Activity for the Under 5s – South – Category 7

Blue Wave Swim School is thrilled to be nominated for these awards. As an independent activity provider with no government assistance, it’s a real honour to be recognised in these categories.

It’s not the first time Blue Wave Swim has been nominated for awards. In both 2015 and 2016 Blue Wave Swim was a finalist in the Best Business Awards in boroughs of Wandsworth and Merton. In 2015, it was the runner-up of the Wandsworth Best Business in Sports & Leisure. There are high hopes for another victory at the What’s on 4 Kids ceremony in London on October 4th.

Owner and Founder, Marjan Moosavi, said: ‘I am so proud that we are nominated for these awards. It is a fantastic recognition for all the hard work that my team and I put into it all year round. I’m passionate about providing children with the best learning environment to learn to swim. Although all children’s activities benefit kids in so many different ways, I do think swimming is a bit special. It’s a lifelong skill, and it has been an honour to help so many children over the years to achieve their goal of becoming confident swimmers. It is great bonus to receive this recognition for the work that I love to do anyway.’

You can vote for Blue Wave Swim School at https://www.whatson4littleones.co.uk/award-voting.asp – Categories 4 and 7. Voting closes at 12pm on July 3rd.
