The plight of plastic in our oceans, illustrated in the BBC’s Blue Planet, has not only raised awareness and escalated the debate but has also resulted in positive action by business to reduce the amount of plastic they use.

Here in Merton, working with Sustainable Merton’s #plasticfreemerton campaign a number of businesses have seized the opportunity to make a difference and, here at Merton Chamber of Commerce, we would like many more businesses to get involved. That’s why we have partnered with Green Element, a forward thinking environmental business with roots in Wimbledon, to give local businesses a helping hand.
