Written byNatasha Morgan

Merton Giving is recruiting for two new positions to support their on-going work.

  • Fundraising and Engagement Manager
  • Communications Officer

Both roles will be part of the small Merton Giving team which sits within Merton Chamber of Commerce alongside their friendly team

Who We Are
Merton Giving makes local giving easy by providing a focal point to get involved.
We harness the collective strength of our community and, through donations and fundraising activities from our supporters, award grants to charitable organisations working locally to tackle inequality and change lives for the better in Merton

We are a relatively new initiative that is making a significant impact across the borough and, with funding secured from City Bridge Trust, we are growing our team to enable us to scale our activity and impact.

Our plans include increasing income from a range of donors ranging from the business community – SMEs and larger corporates alongside individuals, high-net worth individuals and other funders in additional to generating in-kind giving.

We have grown rapidly, raising and distributing over £1million of grant funding and over £300,000 of in-kind donations from individuals, corporates and funders.  Merton Giving is an initiative from partners Merton Voluntary Service Council (trading as Merton Connected) and Merton Chamber of Commerce.

Do you share our passion of supporting our local community? Would you like to be part of a small, dynamic team making a real difference to reduce inequality?  Then take a look at our two vacancies.
