Merton Priory Trust is looking for help...

Written byLauren De Moet

Merton Priory Trust is a Charity managing the Chapter House at Merton Priory.

The Chapter House museum and events space contains the archaeological remains of the chapter house itself and other artefacts from Merton Priory and the historic industries at Merton Abbey.

It is open to the public on Sundays from April to October.

Our building was improved and extended following Heritage Lottery Fund Grant and a further phase of work will be carried out this spring/early summer.

From August 2024 we will begin hosting more events including educational visits, theatre workshops, lectures, exhibitions.

We need help with:

  • Website management [we have a WordPress site]
  • Events and Social Media – using Eventbrite and other tools to keep in touch with our database of friends and supporters.

If you would like to help, please contact John Hawks or Marcus Beale, trustees.
