Charles is a partner and solicitor at Peacock & Co. He is head of the commercial team at the firm and oversees the company, commercial and business law and commercial property practice areas. Charles advises on a range of matters, such as shareholder agreements, business sales, property investment and commercial leases. He won Property Lawyer of the Year at the Surrey Law Society Awards in 2022. He has worked in the borough since 2016 and has been a director of the Merton Chamber since 2019.

She combines her technical, marketing and business expertise with her organisational and people management skills. She has been a Director of Merton Chamber since 2020 and is also an Enterprise Nation UK Top Adviser.

Eleanor is Director of Business Development and Fundraising at the University of Roehampton. With more than two decades of experience, she works to bring a range of services at the University such as solutions for staffing and workforce development to employers of all sizes and sectors across the region, which help them grow and achieve their strategic objectives. She has been a Director at the Chamber for since 2021 and sits on a number of employment and skills boards across South London.

Janet is a Partner in Ormerods Solicitors, with offices in central Wimbledon, Croydon and Reigate. She is a lawyer specialising in advising SMEs on commercial and employment matters, acquisitions, shareholder and partnership agreement and compliance. She specialises in the negotiation of severance packages, sale and purchases of business. Janet lives in Merton and is an active contributor to the borough. Janet is also a member of the Chamber’s HR Committee. She has been a Director of Meron Chamber since 2009.

Kieran took over D S Burge & Co from his father in November 2015 after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant at PwC in August 2013. The company was started in 1980 and offers a complete range of accountancy services to its clients from its offices in Wimbledon, Surbiton and East Molesey. Their clients include private individuals and small to medium-sized businesses. The company prides itself on being able to offer each and every customer a friendly, flexible and professional service customised to their individual needs. Kieran has been a Director of Merton Chamber of Commerce since June 2024.

Mark has been working in fundraising and communications for over thirteen years in a variety of charities from the very big, Save the Children and Age Concern England, to leading fundraising teams in smaller organisations like the Royal Medical Benevolent Fund. For over seven years, Mark has worked at the local social welfare charity Wimbledon Guild, supporting people who live, work and study in Merton. Mark has been a Director of Merton Chamber of Commerce since June 2024.

Nick is Finance and IT Manager for the Royal Medical Benevolent Fund based in central Wimbledon and was previously the Finance and Systems Manager at the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, one of the bough’s largest employers. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and has previous experience with Coopers and Lybrand. Nick is a member of the Chamber’s Finance Committee, that oversees the company’s financial management and controls. He is also a Merton resident. Nick has been a Director of the Chamber since 2005.

Nick is the owner of Samuel Estates and has been involved in the property industry since 1988. He has extensive experience in property development, residential lettings, property management and sales. Samuel Estates has acquired both Purser and Co Estate Agency in 2009 and Hooper Jackson in 2010. They are an award-winning company, recognised as the Best Small Business & Best Business for Customer Satisfaction in the Merton Best Business Awards. Nick has been a director of Merton Chamber since 2012.

Sally is the Head of Client Success and Training at Wavenet. She has held organisational and managerial roles within IT support and education for over 20 years. She is trained in adult education and has spent the last few years focusing on cyber security awareness in schools and businesses. Sally is Chair of the Maternity Voices Partnership for St Helier Hospital as well as being a National Childbirth Trust (NCT) Doula, antenatal practitioner and breastfeeding counsellor. She has been a Director at Merton Chamber since 2022.
