Business Masterclass Series: The Future of Workspaces
June 12 @ 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm
The Future of Workspaces
Last year, Love Wimbledon and Merton Chamber of Commerce launched our Masterclass programme, delivering four events that addressed some of the biggest concerns businesses were now facing: Managing your business during a cost-of-living crisis; staff wellbeing post-pandemic; becoming more sustainable in business; and digital transformation and the emergence of AI technology.
We’re now delighted to announce a brand new Masterclass, The Future of Workspaces, our first event for 2024/25, which we have developed with the welcome support of the South London Partnership, the Greater South East Net Zero Hub and the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero.
The impact of the pandemic upon working culture has been truly seismic. Businesses adapted rapidly to the challenge of remote working, resulting in many people working from home and many businesses developing more flexible, hybrid working strategies. One of the consequences of this is that many businesses have since struggled to entice staff back to their premises, and businesses are having to make decisions about the appropriateness of their current premises to this new way of working.
Join us on Wednesday 12th June at 5.30pm in Flight Centre’s stunning new HQ on Wimbledon Broadway, where you will hear from three experts about the future of workspaces, including Darren Giddings, Flight Centre’s Head of Property, who will explain the challenges he faced managing the relocation of their head office to a newly designed, state-of-the-art workspace here in Wimbledon. Darren will also provide an optional tour of the whole site for attendees.
As well as showcasing post-pandemic design for new workspaces, we’ll be reviewing affordable, sustainable solutions for businesses to retrofit their existing property, and exploring best practice in new co-working spaces for those seeking more flexible premises solutions.
We look forward to seeing you at this important and inspiring Masterclass. Speakers and biographies will be announced shortly.
