During this full day course, you will learn basic life-saving first aid and workplace health and safety regulations.
The course is tailored as a generic course and will include the following:Â
- Health and safety (first aid) regulations
- Managing an incident
- The priorities of first aid
- Treatment of an unconscious casualty
- Resuscitation
- Shock
- Choking
- Seizures
- Bleeding
- Common workplace injuries
Assessment and certification Continuous assessment by trainer meeting Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. Who should attend? Any individual who is the nominated emergency first aider or anyone wanting a comprehensive one day first aid course. This course is ideal for smaller workplaces that present few health and safety risks.
