About this event –

Sustainability Accreditation – Find out about different types and whether it’s worth the time and effort

Join us, in collaboration with Roxie Steak, as we launch our FIRST sustainability breakfast workshop for Wimbledon businesses. We will explore the challenges of working towards different sustainability accreditations and discuss how much time and effort these things take, and ask the question – IS IT REALLY WORTH IT?

Charlie Cotton Founder of ecollective is joining us to share his experiences. Charlie has helped hundreds of clients know what their carbon footprint is today, and what it needs to be next year providing strategies for reduction. He shares his thoughts on accreditation and if they bring any benefits.

Sally Warren Adviser at Love Wimbledon has been working to the strategy ‘reduce and reuse’ with the Love Wimbledon team, she also runs a second-hand skiwear website and passionately believes that things should be kept in circulation whether from marketing activity, events or even at home.

Nicola Jibson, Head of Merchandise and Sustainability at Royal Trinity Hospice. She led the implementation of an award-winning sustainability strategy in the retail department, driving the organisation towards more eco-friendly practices.

So if you are not sure which direction to take or just want to learn more about what is on offer in the sustainability world, then this is for you.

If you are considering becoming B CorpQuality Insurance 14001 or something more specific such as Carbon Literacy Training or perhaps completing a sustainable events course, then this panel may help you make the right decision…

All brought to you by Love Wimbledon with Roxie Steak.

Only £5 to attend which includes pastries, fruit and coffee/tea provided by Roxie Steak, with proceeds donated to Sustainable Merton.

Location: Roxie Steak Wimbledon, 29 Wimbledon Hill Road, SW19 7NE
