The Mayor’s Business Climate Challenge

Do you want free support to reduce your business’ energy usage and save on energy costs?  Do you want to join a cohort of leading businesses supporting London to address the climate crisis?

Rising fuel and energy costs are a huge challenge for London businesses – to help cut energy usage and bills, the Mayor is providing extensive no-cost support to help London businesses save on energy in partnership with BIDs and business organisations across London through the Mayor’s Business Climate Challenge.

The no-cost programme offer includes:

  • a workplace audit identifying ways to reduce energy use
  • a personalized recommendation report including ‘quick wins’ for energy conservation, deeper retrofits, and a roadmap of actions to reach net zero emissions
  • access to a bespoke data dashboard to help businesses track energy usage and understand how to save
  • training sessions for relevant staff
  • cohort peer-learning and mentorship opportunities
  • Mayoral recognition for businesses achieving the target

In 2021, BCC participants saved on average £8300 over 9 months, by reducing energy use by 16%.  It’s good for business and good for the planet!
