Rising fuel and energy costs are a huge challenge for London businesses – to help cut energy usage and bills, the Mayor is providing extensive no-cost support to help London businesses save on energy in partnership with BIDs and business organisations across London through the Mayor’s Business Climate Challenge.
The no-cost programme offer includes:
- a workplace audit identifying ways to reduce energy use
- a personalized recommendation report including ‘quick wins’ for energy conservation, deeper retrofits, and a roadmap of actions to reach net zero emissions
- access to a bespoke data dashboard to help businesses track energy usage and understand how to save
- training sessions for relevant staff
- cohort peer-learning and mentorship opportunities
- Mayoral recognition for businesses achieving the target
In 2021, BCC participants saved on average £8300 over 9 months, by reducing energy use by 16%. It’s good for business and good for the planet!
