As part of National Apprenticeship Week 2026, the University of Roehampton is hosting its third UR Game Changers event, bringing together further education students, employers and industry experts.

The event will welcome 131 students from HRUC, South Thames Colleges Group, Surrey College and City of Westminster College. More than 20 industry professionals from a wide range of sectors will be involved, offering feedback on student work, sharing insight and helping young people explore future pathways.

The UR Game Changers programme reflects a strong commitment to strengthening links between further and higher education, employers and students. Events like this play an important role in supporting apprenticeships, widening participation and helping young people make informed decisions about their next steps, whether that’s employment, apprenticeships or higher education.
