Work Placement Opportunities Available for Local Businesses

Written byLauren De Moet

South Thames College Group is currently seeking local employers who can host a Level 3 Year 1 Business student for a one-week work placement from 8–12 February 2027.

Students are studying Business and have specialist interests in areas including Finance and Marketing. They are enthusiastic, professional and technologically confident, with skills that could support activities such as:

• Social media
• Market research
• Administration
• Data analysis
• Customer engagement
• Finance-related tasks

Work placements play an important role in preparing students for the world of work, helping them build valuable skills, confidence and real-world experience.

South Thames College Group will support both the student and employer throughout the placement process. Participating organisations will need to hold current Employers’ Liability Insurance.

If your organisation would be interested in supporting a local student and helping to develop future talent, South Thames College Group would be delighted to hear from you.
